Job Description:

Bridgewell is currently seeking a part time 24 hours a week Behaviorist to oversee behavioral needs of individuals in Bridgewell residential services. The dynamic candidate will work with program supervisors, program directors and staff in the behavioral needs assessment, planning and development of behavior support plans that meet regulatory requirements of DDS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Participate in clinical teams meetings to assess, develop, monitor, and revise behavioral support plans.
2. Provide trainings to staff on the implementation of behavioral support plans.
3. Provide trainings for agency staff on topics related to managing behavioral, social or personal problems of individuals served.
4. Assist staff or others in locating and obtaining needed or related resources for individuals.
5. Participate as part of the multidisciplinary team for review of client charts.
7. Participate in all relevant meetings with DDS and relevant supervisor groups within the agency.
8. Participate in the agency’s referral/assessment processes.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

1. Masters degree in psychology or related field
2. Must have had at least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental and/or psychiatric disabilities.
3. BCBA or BCBA eligible preferred

Required Skills/Knowledge:

1. Strong leadership and problem solving skills
2. Strong clinical skills
3. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral concepts and techniques
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and foster positive relationships with funding sources
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
