Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (if applicable): Must have at least a B.A. degree in a field such as psychology,counseling, social work or education and a background in behavior intervention. Good writing skills are a must. Integrity and honesty are key issues. Spanish or Asian language abilities helpful but not a requirement though we do particularly need Spanish-speaking ability for the Upper Desert currently. Again, this is not a requirement.
Job Description: We are seeking staff to work the Inland Counties and East Los Angeles/San Gabriel Valley areas. We are especially in need of coverage for the Upper Desert, Greater Palm Springs, Riverside and mountain areas. We are also looking for coverage along the 15 Freeway from San Bernardino to Temecula. We are seeking individuals with a background in behavior intervention and history of working with developmentally disabled preferred. This is an in-home program that takes place in the client's home or training program. We work with a population primarily made up of mentally retarded and/or autistic individuals. Schedule tends to be very flexible, mostly afternoon, evenings and weekend work.
