Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (if applicable): Position requires a high school diploma with at least one year's experience in a sheltered workshop setting. Applicant must possess sensitivity to the service recipients and their needs and the ability to provide provide positive behavior supports.
Job Description: Provides direct habilitation and vocational services to adult clients with developmental or other disabilities in a sheltered workshop setting. Implements clients/service recipients' individual support plan goals.Conducts programs and activities gears toward enhancing the optimal independent functioning skills of assigned clients. Assigns, trains, and supervises clients on production jobs. Performs quality control functions. Completes production, attendance and habilitation reports.
