Job Path is a nonprofit organization that enables people with developmental disabilities to lead full and satisfying lives. Since 1978, Job Path has supported people in their efforts to make choices about their lives and achieve increased independence. We help people find jobs and establish careers, live in their own homes, and participate in community life. Working in neighborhoods across New York City, Job Path operates in collaboration with people and their families, employers, community members, and government partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing a pool of employers interested in partnering with Job Path; presenting the program and Job Path’s participants in a persuasive manner; working with employers to develop job opportunities suited to each individual

• Meeting with individuals supported by Job Path to understand their career interests and needs

• Helping individuals prepare for the interviewing process

• Maintaining appropriate records
